Walking

When you’re busy at work, juggling a million family commitments, have a long day away from home or if you’re feeling under the weather, we’ll make sure your dog enjoys a fun walk to blow the cobwebs away. 

Many of our clients book their dogs in for regular walks while others decide week by week, depending on their schedule.

We don’t walk more than two dogs together (unless they are from the same household) and if your dog enjoys canine company, we’ll match them up with a good buddy so they both enjoy their walks and get to socialise with other dogs. 

Pet Sitting 

You’ve already got plenty to think about when planning a night, weekend or weeks away, you can now tick a pet sitter off your To Do list!

While you’re away your pets will stay at your home, in familiar surroundings, and we’ll drop in for feeds, walks, chats and company. Whether you have one pet or an entire mini zoo, this is an at-home option that works very well. 

We look after all types of pets from cats and dogs to horses, fish, hens and rats! 

We will also turn on and off lights, open and close curtains, collect your post and put out bins so that your home appears busy and occupied while you’re away. 

It’s playtime & more!

• Dogs love to socialise and, when we can, we like to walk a dog with a regular companion. It’s a doggy playdate!
• FitDog can arrange puppy play dates to help your puppy learn to be around other dogs and find out how things work.
• FitDog can also do gentle training while walking your dog to give them some structure and purpose on the walk and keep them engaged and thinking. Dogs love to be given a job and this system of consistent and repeated gentle instructions each day will help your dog to know what’s expected of him or her.
• We can look after trips to the vet and grooming appointments while you are at work or away from home. We’ll pick up and drop off and keep your four-legged friend company if needs be.
